As part of our commitment to assisting Local Authority and Voluntary and Community sector funding specialists, Optimus Publishing is pleased to announce this regional event the Professionalising External Funding Conference for the Midlands on Tuesday 16th March 2004. 

This conference has been created to support those involved in the increasingly complex and fast-moving world of project and partnership funding. It is your opportunity to hear about current issues from regional experts in the field.

Almost all Local Authorities and many of the larger voluntary sector organisations now have dedicated External Funding Officers – but these are usually fairly new roles, often without well-defined roles and no established professional structures. And the nature of the role is getting more complex: This conference will offer crucial support, guidance and peer networking opportunities to the External Funding community.
