2nd Annual Lottery Monitor Conference for Wales
Thursday 30th October 2003
Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells, Wales
Making lottery funding work for Wales
In July 2003 Secretary of State for the DCMS, Tessa Jowell, revealed plans for the biggest overhaul to the national lottery since it was founded in 1994. Revealed was the provisional view that a UK distribution structure should be retained, but that distributors in Wales should have more influence in setting their own specific priorities and strategies, taking into account the needs and wishes of local communities and service providers.
Lottery Monitor’s 2nd Annual Conference for Wales will be your opportunity to find out how these proposals will affect your organisation and to discuss policy and best practice. This conference is supported by the joint welsh distribution boards and the Welsh Assembly. Last years conference was about reflection but this year is all about change, this conference will give you the opportunity to voice your opinions as well as attending a range of workshops plus an exhibition.
Keynote Speakers Include:
- Alun Pugh, Minister for Culture, Welsh Language and Sport
