Sport England updates PAI

Sport England has revised the eligibility criteria for its ‘priority areas initiative’. The PAI acts as a exemption clause for the normal match-funding conditions for big capital grants, enabling applicants to receive up to 90% funding for their projects. From January, Sport England has brought its PAI areas into line with the government’s Index of Multiple Deprivation 2000, so if your project falls within the top 20% of IMD wards, it will count as a PAI project.
