Further to our report in last month’s Lottery Monitor, we can confirm that in Scotland Community Fund and NOF will be working together in all six Fair Share areas there. The official announcement of how much cash will go to each of the 62 areas should come just too late for us to print, but should have been announced by the time you receive this issue. Later in June CF and NOF are expected to announce the first big Fair Share joint award of more than £5m to groups in Rotherham. We will have to wait longer, however, for the announcement from the Community Fund and Countryside Agency of how their joint ‘rural fair share’ scheme is to work, and who will benefit. The £10m that the CF has allocated to this England-only scheme is likely to be shared out between 12 beneficiary areas.
