NOF has increased the cash available to six of its Green Spaces awards partners for their grants schemes. The £4.5m comes from a ‘contingency’ sum that NOF held back when launched Green Spaces, as it was the first time it had rolled out an award-partner It has now decided it can safely release the cash, with interest, back into the scheme. Beneficiary award partners are:

Forward Scotland / Scottish National Heritage: £93,437 extra for Fresh Futures
Barnardo’s: £1.52m extra for Better Play
Royal Society for Nature Conservation: £1.35m extra for SEED
English Nature: £1.52m extra for Wildspace!
N Ireland Housing Executive: £36,563 extra for Creating Common Ground Consortium Wales Council for Voluntary Action: £52,813 extra for the Enfys partnerships
